Road works Middenweg – directions to Hotel Den Helder
Due to road works on the Middenweg, the hotel is not directly accessible via the usual route.
🚗 Detour (by car)
Please follow this route:
- Drive towards Den Helder as usual
- Head in the direction of the Javastraat
- Continue towards the Bernhardplein
- Follow the Brakkeveldweg
- Continue along this road towards the outskirts
- Turn onto the Jan Verfailleweg
- Follow this road until you reach the Middenweg from the opposite side
- From there, you can reach the hotel directly
⚠️ Important
- The Middenweg is closed near the hotel
- You must approach the hotel from the opposite direction
- Please follow the yellow detour signs, as GPS may not be up to date

Our Restaurant
In our attractive restaurant with beautiful conservatory you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. With our à la carte menu you can choose from meat, fish or vegetarian dishes.
There is also a weekly changing 3-course menu for € 26.50. Lunch is served from 12 pm. – 5 pm.
Dinner is served from 5 pm. and our kitchen is open until 9 pm.
Meet in Hotel Den Helder
Hotel Den Helder has two conference rooms,
which are separated by a mobile wall.
One room is approx. 120 m2 and has two spacious passageways to our beautiful conservatory. The other room is slightly smaller, approximately 80 m2, but has its own bar. When the mobile wall is removed, one large hall is created.

An 18-hole moonlight mini golf course, which consists of various themes, all of which can be found in the individual courses and in the murals.
This concept stands out because of the combination of black light (as we already know from disco bowling) in combination with the murals and lanes sprayed with fluorescent paint.
This combination, with appropriate music, gives a very special, unique experience.
